Can higher education institutions choose a suitable EQAR-registered agency?

Yes, Georgian higher education institutions can choose an EQAR-registered agency for their mandatory external quality assurance.

  • Eligibility requirements for foreign agencies: N/A
  • Conditions for the agencies’ work (e.g. criteria to be used): Criteria and procedures for external quality assurance must be validated by  .
  • Recognition of reviews carried out by foreign agencies:  The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of Georgia (NCEQE) checks the compatibility of the evaluation with National Standards and Procedures (Art. 28).
