Information on the agency's work

Evalag is a centre of competence for quality assurance and enhancement. The agency supports higher education institutions and other scientific institutions with their commitment for good quality in teaching and learning, research and services; since October 2009 evalag is accredited as an accreditation agency.

External quality assurance activities in the scope of the ESG:
  • Programme and institutional (system) accreditation in Germany;
  • International accreditation at programme and institutional level;
  • Evaluations of fields of study;
  • Audits;
  • Institutional accreditation of Swiss higher education institutions.
  • Certification of advanced studies;
  • Certification of institutes of advances studies.
