Information on the agency's work

EKKA is a competence centre in the field of external evaluation of both higher education and vocational education. EKKA acts in accord with agreements and trends in the European higher education and vocational education areas, retains information about trends and best practices also from outside Europe, and applies up-to-date know-how and analyses of the results of external quality evaluations.

External quality assurance activities in the scope of the ESG:
  • Institutional accreditation of higher education institutions;
  • Quality assessment of study programme groups in the first and second cycles of higher education;
  • Initial assessment of study programme groups;
