Information on the agency's work
CTI (Commission des Titres d'Ingénieurs) is an independent body fully involved in the development of the European Higher Education Area, established by the French law in 1934. Its missions are respectively: the evaluation and accreditation of higher education institutions in the fields of engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, project management, etc; the development of quality in engineering education; the promotion of engineering curricula and careers in France and abroad (i.e. Belgium, Bulgaria, Cameroon, China, Germany, Morocco, Switzerland, Tunisia, Viet-Nam, others in process...).
In France, all official engineering programmes have to be accredited by CTI at least every five years. CTI is also authorised by the French law to accredit engineering programmes abroad. It is also one of the organizations authorised by ENAEE to deliver the EUR-ACE label at the master level.
