Information on the agency's work
AEQES is responsible for assessing the quality of all bachelor and master programmes of FWB (French-speaking Belgium). The focus is on quality-enhancement (AEQES Decree 2008: no accreditation, no impact on funding). Programmes are clustered, so an extra outcome is, per cluster, a system-wide analysis of the provision of education in a specific domain. A compulsory follow-up evaluation procedure has been implemented. AEQES implements regular collaboration with other agencies (CTI, MusiQuE).
